Our guild started in 2010 as the Atlanta Modern Quilt Guild to offer a place for the more non-traditional and modern quilters to connect and create, and our meetings reflect this casual energy.

We rebranded as the Metro Atlanta Contemporary Quilters (MACQ) in 2022.

This is the annual retreat for the MACQ at The Mountain!
