2026 Chris Purcell’s Celebration of Life
June 5 - June 7
Come to The Mountain to celebrate the life of Christopher Purcell with his family and friends.
Attend his memorial service and lunch on Saturday, June 6th and spend the rest of your time enjoying the place and people he loved. Christopher attended Mountain Camp for the first time in 1981, became a counselor, year round employee and much later returned for Act 2 as arts and crafts director.
Bring a favorite story to share, pictures, Christopher’s art/artifacts or just yourself!

Registration Instructions
- Go to The Mountain’s Portal
- Create an account
- Complete your personal profile and a profile for each member of your party
- Under “Program Classifications” select OTHER RETREATS
- Select your room occupancy option
- Fill out the required Dietary Needs, Housing Options, Mobility Needs, and the Voluntary Release Form(s)
- Specify cabinmate request(s). If this is left empty one will be assigned to you
- Do this for each member of your party
- Submit payment. Your spot is not secured (enrolled) until payment has been submitted (registered).
