Facilities and maintenance staff are responsible for maintaining our buildings, grounds, and infrastructure. This position performs routine maintenance, diagnoses and repairs facility issues, and helps ensure our campus remains safe, functional, and welcoming for guests year-round.
Primary responsibilities include troubleshooting and repairing building systems, including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, HVAC, and general maintenance. Experience with plumbing and/or electrical work is a plus. Staff will also assist with preventative maintenance, respond to maintenance requests, and support campus improvement projects.
This role occasionally oversees and coordinates with third-party construction contractors hired for renovations and larger capital projects, helping ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and according to project expectations. The ideal candidate is dependable, hands-on, organized, and comfortable working independently as well as collaboratively with staff, volunteers, and contractors.
