Library

The Library is tucked away in the Lodge just below the Great Room.  It may be a bit of an adventure to find the Library entrance, so ask one of our Mountain staff for assistance.  Due to several small up/down steps, the Library is not equipped for handicapped access.

The Library is well stocked with books with titles covering science & nature, biographies, religion, women’s studies, and short stories as well as a collection of fiction and non-fiction novels.  All this material is available for your use while at The Mountain.  There is no fee for the use of the Library material.

We also keep three telescopes in the library for those who wish to do some evening star gazing.

The Library is actually two rooms separated by a movable partition. On one side of the partition is a reading table and chairs.  This space can be used to enjoy your reading or serve as a quiet meeting space. Since the Library is located near the Great Room, the Library is an ideal space for a larger group breakout session.

On the other side of the partition is an open space that can be configured with a meeting table and chairs or a collection of tables to support activities such as sewing, knitting activities or book discussions.
