Travel To The Mountain
The Mountain is located at 3872 Dillard Road (Highway 106), Highlands, NC 28741, 4 miles southwest of downtown Highlands, NC and 10 miles east of Dillard, GA on GA Highway 246/NC Highway 106.
Please plan to arrive and check your camper in at The Mountain between 1:00pm and 3:00pm on the first day of campers’ session. Plan transportation to pick up your camper between 10:00am and 12:00pm on the last day of your campers’ session at the parking lot below.
Remember to list all adults able to pick up your camper on the pick up form during check-in. Campers will need written permission to be released to adults on pick up. An adult who is picking up must be present with photo ID.
Airport shuttles are available. MountainCamp staff will pick up and drop off campers at the airport from 10am-2pm at the beginning and end of each session. If your camper will arrive at the airport, or needs to be dropped off at the airport outside of this window, please email youthcamp@themountainrlc.org or call Guest Services at (828) 526-5838. To register for airport shuttles, please sign onto your CampWise camper account and add this option through the “Program Add-ons” link. The airport shuttle rates are listed below.
Atlanta airport one-way – $185
Atlanta airport round trip – $370
Asheville airport one-way – $135
Asheville airport round trip – $270

Parent / Guardian Staying Overnight
If you’re planning to stay overnight when either dropping off or picking up your camper, make reservations early. Please call the Registrar’s office at 828-526-5838 to reserve space.
