Harvest food from farm and forest, learn gardening techniques you can apply anywhere, and even make some salve to take home with you!  

September 27 - October 2, 2020

Join local experts in experiencing all things native: you’ll learn plant identification, engage in hands-on application of natural gardening practices, help remove invasive plant species and even harvest some of the foods that you will eat during the program.  



Joey Kyle

Joey Kyle is The Mountains Farm Manager. He is a state certified mushroom forager, a fun guy who loves fungi, and a wild food lover. A permaculture practitioner who got his certificate from Wild Abundance in NC, he took his skills to the Philippines to help start a permaculture farm. A world wide WOOFer, and multiculturalist Joey will lead you through the forest with a set of new eyes for what you might find!
