We, the board and staff, of The Mountain RLC desire to build and live in a community that is rich with racial, ethnic, and cultural diversity. We realize that The Mountain has been complacent in challenging white supremacy and racism in staffing, programs, and processes. We also recognize that our past actions have been modest in comparison to the ones needed to reach our collective dream. In honoring those in our community who have been consistent and rigorous in anti-white supremacy work, we, the current staff and Board of Trustees, commit to do better. We will be taking equitable steps to educate ourselves and in doing so, we will remain vigilant in minimizing the harm that this process causes, to our Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC) leaders and community members. We further commit to deep listening, especially to the stories of BIPOC in and around our community.

Airline Unaccompanied Minors Service Pass

  • Most airlines require children aged 5-11 to register & pay for an Unaccompanied Minor service pass when traveling without a parent or guardian.

  • Youth traveling as Unaccompanied Minors must be escorted to their gate of departure and picked up from their arrival gate by an adult whose name & photo identification has been provided to the booking airline prior to the flight. The Mountain is happy to work with parents to meet these flight requirements, and to provide simple, safe transportation to & from MountainCamp for all campers. Please indicate in your email to youth programs if your child is an unaccompanied minor. MountainCamp leadership will email you the name and address of the staff picking up your child 1 week prior to the pick-up date.
