Please come along as we emerge into our old growth forest and learn what nature has to offer. Here we will learn of the legends and lore of these Appalachia natives\, how they have historically been consumed\, how to sustainably harvest and how to prepare them safely. Lastly\, we will enjoy a wild foraged herbal tea and give our gratitude for nature and the nourishment that it provides.\nLearn to identify edible and medicinal plants\, herbs\, berries\, nuts and mushrooms. \n\nLearn about the life cycle and how to sustainably forage these wild edibles\nLearn how they have historically been consumed\nLearn how to prepare them safely\nLearn their uses and the legends behind these nutritional powerhouses\n\nRain Policy\nAll of our events have indoor rain plans as backups in case of adverse weather.
