Intro to Herbalism - Approx. 2 hours of lecture and hands-on acitivities (accommodations can be made available)

What to bring: water bottle, comfortable walking shoes, and dress for the weather.

What to expect:  You will learn the basics of how herbs and mushrooms affect affect the body's various systems. The workshop covers preservation techniques and how to make tea blends, tinctures, and herbal salves.. We will discuss helpful identification tips, ethical foraging practices, and how to prepare/store the harvest. At the end, visitors will receive a handout with the techniques discussed in the workshop. 

Rain Policy:

All of our events have indoor rain plans as backups in case of adverse weather. Please dress accordingly and bring rain gear if the forecast looks to be really wet!

If you must cancel your reservation to one of our events then please let us know, at the latest, 48 hours before the scheduled time. If an unexpected emergency occurs then please let us know ASAP. For both options we can offer you the opportunity to attend a future event or receive your money back.
